You only need a little at a time, unless you have many sore joints like me, then it’s a little in a lot of areas. It just takes a fingertip amount of salve and then gently massage into the affected area. Repeat as needed. This is a salve so it takes a moment or two to absorb into your skin but it is so worth the extra few seconds!
Many of the products made and sold by Nature’s Notes have come to be out of necessity or by the special request of family or friends. This one was a combination of both. Many friends, myself included, have noticed sore, stiff, and swollen joints that have progressively gotten worse over the years. It’s rude, but there it is. I found the highly pungent scent of commercial joint pain relief unappealing and thought, ‘there has to be something better!’
I researched a lot of recipes and tried several but realized many natural products used essential oils that were not pet-friendly. Since I am the Food/Watering/Walking/Treat Getter for a four-legged and furry “son,” I needed to create something that worked best for me and wouldn’t bother him either. This Calming Arthritis Salve is the result, and I know you’ll love it!
